Who we are
I'm curious about:
Memory, learning, decision-making, brain networks' function and dysfunction.
Other interests:
Argentine tango, creative writing, photography, and other forms of art. Some of my artwork exploring the relation between art and memory can be found on my personal website: www.memoartum.com
I'm curious about:
I am particularly interested in understanding the correlations between neural responses and various aspects of cognition, such as behavior, learning, memory, and decision-making.
Other interests:
Reading, music, and traveling in nature.
I'm curious about:
Learning and homeostasis in biological and artificial neural networks, dynamics of complex systems.
Other interests:
Anything outdoors especially cycling, hiking and camping, live music, exploring new places and new experiences.
I'm curious about:
How neural circuits in the brain contribute to animal language and complex decision making behaviors, and how this understanding can shed light on human behavior and cognition.
Other interests:
Hiking, dancing, and experimenting with creative cooking.
I'm curious about:
Memory formation, modification, and loss, learning, perception and neuropathology.
Other interests:
Reading, music, extreme activities and traveling.
I'm curious about:
Behavior and the neural processes underlying it, especially under an ethological perspective. Learning, memory and decision-making.
Other interests:
Continuously learning new skills and information; Creative expression in various art forms such as crochet, jewelry-making, drawing and playing music - specifically - the bass and ukulele; Walking and exploring new places
I'm curious about:
How many simple units can preform complex tasks and how memories are formed and retrieved, biologically and computationally.
Other interests:
Running, traveling and hiking, playing guitar and Jewish literature and history.
I'm curious about:
Learning and memory formation, as well as the neural connectivity that underlie these processes in healthy and neurodegenerative conditions.
Other interests:
Yoga and mindfulness, spending time in nature and reading a good book, discovering new music that I enjoy.
I'm curious about:
How do mathematical models capture complicated phenomena in the real world?
Other interests:
Reading, writing, hiking, board games, discussing philosophy.
